Companies behind the Asian Renewable Energy Hub and the Mirning People are planning a vast $94B green ammonia hub on WA's south coast.
The Asian Renewable Energy Hub is a $US36 billion plan to export 10 million tonnes a year of green ammonia from the Pilbara, powered by 28 gigawatts of solar and wind energy. Its backers include the Macquarie Group and Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas.
